I kept running into the same problem while studying: I could write down all the concepts in a topic, but the thing I actually needed to understand was how they connected, and notes are bad at that.

So I built Neuromap. We create nodes for concepts and draw connections between them, and when we select part of the map, an AI explains how those ideas relate.

It works like a mind map, except interactive. We drag nodes around, connect them in different ways, and get an explanation of the relationships we have drawn. I made different node types for main ideas, secondary ideas and details, and different line styles so a connection can mean different things.

There are two halves: the visual interface where we build the map, and the AI system that reads the selection and explains it back. I wanted it to behave like a teacher rather than a search box, so the explanation is about the specific connections we drew, not the topic in general.

I use it for learning, organising my own thinking, and documenting systems I am trying to understand.
